Encyclopedia of LifeLife, Animals, Science. This encyclopedia site is hosted by the Smithsonian. It explores all life on the planet and compiles the most interesting articles on anything living you could want to explore!

Family ResearchGenealogy. The Family Research Organization helps people trace their family lines. The organization was started by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The website does have a pay feature but some records are available by creating a free account. This database contains newspapers, images, catalogs, records, and is updated weekly.

High School Equivalency Center from LearningExpress Library: General interest and education. Skills building in reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and math. Practice for the GED in English and Spanish. Practice the HiSET and the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC). Create a free account to access tools to help you do well on these tests.

LearningExpress Library:  Test Prep/Jobs/Careers. An online learning platform of seven interactive learning centers for academic and licensing/certification practice tests, elementary level testing for math and reading, and skill-building tools. Learn about the latest treatments, look up information on a drug or supplement, find the meanings of words, view medical videos or illustrations, get links to the latest medical research on your topic or find out about clinical trials on a disease or condition.  National Institute of Health’s website for patients and their families and friends produced by the National Library of Medicine.

National ArchivesGenealogy. The National Archives are used by genealogists and researchers trying to track family ancestry. They compile data from all national archives dedicated to historical and genealogical importance.

OAIster (free version):   General interest. Catalog of more than 30 million records of digitized materials from open-archive collections worldwide.  Includes books, articles and multimedia, representing multidisciplinary resources from more than 1,500 contributors worldwide.

Oxford HandbooksBusiness. Oxford Handbooks researches reviews in a wide array of fields. This website is best for scholarly research and reading reviews about research articles.
