The library is starting a program where adults 18+ can read 30 classic books out of 50 options for a challenge.

How to Start

Simply come into the library and signup. Staff will give you a sheet with 50 book options and you begin your adventure. You may select your own classics, just keep a list of the ones you read, if not on the sheet. Come every 10 books to receive a prize. This program is for 18+, you are responsible for checking the content to ensure the subject matter is appropriate for yourself. If you wish to read another classic novel, in place of the selection below, that is acceptable.

Reading prizes

Read 10 out of 30: select a bookmark of your choice.

Read 20 out of 30: get a nice Romulus Public Library pen with stylus.

Read 30 and complete the challenge: get a book reading light.
