The public has requested we look into adding more book clubs. After considering the many options, the Romulus Public Library has decided to add a book club focusing on African American literary works. Our first meeting will be February 24 2020 at 630 pm. At the meeting we will be discussing “The Bluest Eye,” by Toni Morrison. Please join us for our newest book club!
You can pick up the book at Romulus Public Library. You will need to have a library card. If you do not have a library card, residents of Romulus and Huron Township are eligible for a Romulus Library card. Just bring your State ID/License and stop in to get a library card. If you are not a resident of Romulus/Huron Township you can get a library card from your town’s public library as long as they are a part of The Library Network (TLN), you can use that card to check out the book. The book club is open to anyone over 18+. The books will be available for pick up January 13th. We will discuss the book February 24.
Check here to see if your local library is a TLN member, where you can use your card here: TLN Members
First three books have been selected by the Adult Librarian until the book club meets and can select the rest of the year’s books. All suggestions are welcomed!
