Assistant Director / Youth Services Librarian – Jessica Wilhoite

Jessica Wilhoite is the Assistant Director and Youth Services Librarian here at the Romulus Public Library. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in History/Art History, then thought – now what? She took to the internet to try and find her next step and, literally, came upon links for library school; she enrolled at Wayne State and graduated in 2010 with her Master’s in Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree.

These days she can be found in the stacks of the Romulus Library, at her desk preparing great programs for the kiddos, or at home playing with her four year old son. She has been married for 11 years to her wonderful husband, Jay and has a fur baby, named Thor. She loves reading, reading, and reading…oh yeah, and coffee.
