Who Are the Friends?
The Friends are people like you — members of the community who support the Library’s goals and services. They advocate for the Library, raise community awareness about the Library, and provide funds to meet specific Library needs
How Do the Friends Support the Library?
- Provide programs for children, tweens, teens, and adults
- Support the Summer and Winter Reading Programs
- Fund special purchase requests
- Promote the Library at special events such as the Romulus Pumpkin Festival
It’s easy to be a Friend of the Library. Complete the membership application included in this brochure and return it to the Library. An annual membership contribution of $10.00 is suggested. Your Friends’ contribution is tax-deductible and receipts are available upon request.
The Friends of the Library meet the Second Monday of the month in the Library Meeting Room. Social time is held at 5:30 p.m. and the meetings begin at 5:45 p.m. Meeting attendance is encouraged but not required.
